We've done the research so you don't have to! Each item has been scrutinized to ensure that the full list of ingredients is transparent to consumers and does not contain ingredients that are likely to be harmful.
Clean up your cleaning routine by using products that use safer ingredients. The average person uses 12 personal care products daily, exposing them to about 112 unique chemicals, many of which are hormone disruptors. Set your body up for success with these safer choices!
Transform your home into a place where coziness and clean air can finally coexist. Indoor air in homes can be 2-5 times more polluted than outdoor air because everyday products like cleaners, fragrances, and other household items settle into furniture and accumulate in dust. Breathe in peace of mind (and cleaner air) with Million Marker Approved Home Products!
Serve up a healthy meal without a side dish of harmful chemicals. Cooking, storing, and consuming foods with plastic kitchen utensils and containers could release BPA, microplastics, and other unwanted toxicants into your food and drinks. Cook up something safe and delicious with Million Marker Approved Kitchen Products.
Our goal is to give consumers the healthiest product options, and we never charge companies to be listed or earn money from product sales. Our current list reflects the items our customers use most and brands we have independently researched. Companies can also request evaluations. Approval applies only to the specific product reviewed, not the entire brand. Each product is assessed based on ingredient scoring and comparison with established safer-product lists (e.g., EWG Skin Deep, Made Safe, Campaign for Safe Cosmetics). When needed, we also reach out to companies for additional information.
Go products include the safest options based on the label.
Slow products may contain essential oils and essential oil blends with fragrance allergens, natural fragrance, glycerin, phenoxyethanol, and other chemicals that are possible hazards (but better choices than the Stop products).
Stop products contain chemicals that have been shown to be harmful, including carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, obesogens, neurotoxicants, and developmental toxicants.
Million Marker maintains strict standards when evaluating these ingredients. We compile hazard data from multiple chemical databases and, based on these findings, recommend the safer products. To read more about how Million Marker scores ingredients, click here. We update our list according to the newest research and strive to be transparent with the findings. Examples of some of the unapproved chemicals are:
BPA, PHTHALATES, PARABENS, PFAS
